Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using MyRifa, you agree to these Terms. If you use MyRifa on behalf of an organization, you represent that you may bind it.
2. The Service
MyRifa lets organizers create raffle/lead-capture campaigns, generate QR codes, collect entries, and export data. MyRifa does not run the prize draw or select winners.
3. Organizer responsibilities
As an organizer, you are the data controller for entries you collect. You agree to:
- Comply with raffle, sweepstakes, lottery, and gambling laws in your jurisdiction
- Provide accurate rules, prize details, and your identity to participants
- Obtain and honor consent and handle participant data lawfully
- Not use MyRifa deceptively, for spam, or to violate others' rights
4. Acceptable use
No unlawful or abusive content; no attempts to breach security, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Participant data
Entry data belongs to the collecting organizer, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
7. Fees and billing
Creating raffles and collecting entries is free. Two optional paid subscription plans add CSV export of your entrant list and, on the top tier, removal of MyRifa branding from the entry form:
- Pro — US$5.99/month. Export up to 10 distinct raffles per calendar month.
- Unlimited — US$9.99/month. Unlimited exports, and “Powered by MyRifa” removed from your entry forms.
Prices are shown on the pricing page and again at checkout; the amount charged is always the amount shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and Paddle.com Inc.) as merchant of record — Paddle is the seller for the transaction, issues your receipt, and collects and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled, with no minimum term. Cancel any time from Manage billing in your dashboard; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid month, then reverts to Free. Cancelling does not delete your account, raffles, or entrant list.
Refunds are governed entirely by Paddle's Refund Policy — we do not set any separate refund conditions of our own. We may change plan prices or contents with at least 30 days' notice by email, effective at your next renewal. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US$100.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
